The Charger Management section of your dashboard contains all the pages used to manage your EV chargers. This section is located immediately below the Overview tab in your dashboard’s sidebar.
Delete Charger
Chargers sometimes need to be removed (deleted) from a company. This can happen when swapping/replacing new chargers for faulty units, or even to start over the deployment process freshly for various troubleshooting purposes.
How it works
You can delete chargers via the actions menu of the charger details card on the Charger page. To prevent mistakes, there is a warning message before deletion.
When a charger is deleted:
- Chargers can’t be accessed by drivers and don’t appear in the dashboard for the previous company.
- The connection to the charger is terminated (if the charger is online).
- Historical charging session data is retained by the company that previously owned the deleted charger. Historical sessions will appear in the dashboard (e.g. Overview page, payout reports, etc.).
Note: Chargers cannot be deleted if they are actively in use or power managed (power management must first be disabled before charger deletion)
